In Rise, players control the development of an up-and-coming city during the Industrial Revolution. Players can focus on different areas such as politics or science in order to gain prestige in the form of victory points.
However, they also have to keep an eye on their financial resources: should taxes be increased to finance new projects, which would lead to unrest among the population? Perhaps you would rather invest in industry at the expense of the environment?
Find a balance and make the most sensible use of the funds available to you. Then you will emerge as the winners of the Industrial Revolution.
